In 2010, our employees worked more than 79,000 hours and drove approximately 850,000 miles in North Texas without an O.S.H.A. lost-time accident.
Since late 2005 – the year we started developing natural gas reserves in the Barnett Shale – our Fort Worth area employees have put in a total of more than 345,000 hours and driven approximately 3.2 million miles without an O.S.H.A. lost-time accident.
Behind this milestone, you’ll find 34 hard-working men and women – whose average industry experience is just over 13 years per person.
Williams’ entire drilling business across the United States has gone two consecutive years (2009 and 2010) without a lost-time accident, compared with five in 2008.
